Clarence Tatman Thompson died Monday, February 19, 1968, in Lakewood Hospital in Morgan City. He was 74 years old, a resident of Morgan City and native of Bayou Chicot. He was a retired school teacher and a U.S. Army veteran of World War I.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Johnson Thompson, Baton Rouge; a son, Dr. C. T. Thompson, Tulsa, Okla; two daughters, Geraldine T. Melancon and Peggy T. Holmes, both of Morgan City; a sister, Mabel Thompson, Bayou Chicot, and three brothers, Kent and Percy Thompson, both of Bayou Chicot, and J.M. (Med) Thompson, Port Arthur, Tex.
