Amber E. King, 34, of Yuba City passed away on July 1, 2013. She was born February 10, 1979.

Amber is survived by her mother Cynde Landers, sister April Thompson, brother Justin Thompson Wilhemi, dog "son" Scoob, nieces Alexis Blevins and Elizabeth Blevins.

Born in Medford, Oregon, Amber loved music, concerts, eating out, and helping friends and family in whatever way she could. Amber always said that when she passed that no one should be sad, but we will all remember her fondly and be lucky for having known her.

If anyone asks, tell them that "She was caught in a mudslide, eaten by a lion, got run over by a crappy Scion..."

At this time there will be no service as per her wishes.

Arrangements are under the direction of Holycross Memorial Services (530) 751-7000.
