CUPPS - Patricia (Pat) Montgomery, 1934 - 2004. Patricia (Pat) Montgomery Cupps, 69, of Muskogee died Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born October 21, 1934 in Brooken, OK, the daughter of Leonard and Jestie (Crosby) Westbrooks. Pat graduated from Northeastern State University with a Master's degree in Education. She taught at Muskogee Public Schools for over 27 years, retiring in 1994. She married Samuel W. Cupps in Van Buren, AR November 20, 1992. Pat enjoyed working in her flower garden and sewing. She was a loving mother and an excellent cook. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Sam of the home; daughter, Deanna Montgomery Ryser and her husband, Stuart of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Megan Ryser of Oklahoma City; brother, Aubrey Westbrooks and his wife, Linda of Tulsa; stepchildren, Troy and Michelle Cupps of Tulsa and Laura and Larry Wiseman of Muskogee; 4 step grandchildren, Megan, Trenton and Shelton Cupps, and Jeffrey Wiseman; nieces, Kellie Westbrooks Dellinger, Kimberly Westbrooks Sellers; and Jessica Westbrooks; nephew, Mark Westbrooks; and many other loved ones and friends. A funeral service for Mrs. Cupps will be held Saturday, June 19, 2004 at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Muskogee with Reverend Don Jones and Reverend Rex Wilkinson officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. in Brooken Cemetery, Brooken, OK with Troy Cupps, Stuart Ryser, Jeremy Sellers, Joe Sellers, Mark Westbrooks and Larry Wiseman serving as pallbearers. Gary Westbrooks will be honorary pallbearer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (A.L.S.-Lou Gehrig's Disease), 527 N. 39th W. Avenue, Tulsa OK 74127.
