ARCOLA, Illinois — Paul W. McDade, 37, of Arcola, died at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002 at his parents' home near Arcola.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002 at the Arcola United Methodist Church, 121 S. Locust Street, Arcola, with Reverend Margaret Misal as officiant. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery with military rites by Illinois Army National Guard Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion 130th Infantry, 35th Infantry Division. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola.
Paul was born Dec. 17, 1964 in Urbana, a son of Richard L. and Kay Gallagher McDade. He married Ginny Richards in Kokomo, Indiana, on Aug. 31, 1985. She survives.
Besides his wife Ginny, he is survived by his parents, Dick and Kay McDade of Arcola; two sons, Zachary and Sam McDade both at home; one brother, Travis McDade of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Pamela Manselle and her husband Tim of Tuscola, Traci Yingling and her husband Harold of Kettering, Ohio and Amy Goudschaal and her husband Mark of Crystal Lake.
Paul graduated from Maconaquah High School in Peru, Indiana, and attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. He was an Illinois Army National Guard Recruiter, a member of the Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion 130th Infantry, 35th Infantry Division, based in Mattoon. He attended the Arcola United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Arcola High School Athletic Weight Room.
