Rogers died Monday, March 16, 2009. Born Nov. 16, 1931, in Wewoka, Okla., to Calvin and Mary Lou Vance, she retired from Bell Helicopter after 29 years of service. She moved to Bridgeport after living several years in Hurst. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Jim; and one sister.
