Mrs. Marvin Julian (Beulah) Smith, of Armuchee Rte. 1, died Monday at 7:30 p.m. in a Rome hospital. Although she was hospitalized last Friday, her death was unexpected.
Mrs. Smith was born in Paulding County July 15, 1924, but had spent most of her life in Floyd County. She was the daughter of Elmer and Hattie Coheley Hesler. She was a member of the South Rome Church of God.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Jimmy Eugene Smith and Donny Lee Smith; one daughter, Miss Mary Marvine Smith, all of Rome; one brother, Alvin Hesler of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Delia Cooper and Mrs. Mary Wallace both of Rome.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday in the South Rome Church of God with the Rev. Mrs. Thelma Sharp and the Rev. S. A. Luke officiating. Interment will be in Forney Cemetery, Forney, Ala. The following will serve as pallbearer: Roger Hibberts, Richard Wallace, Sammy Smith, Ray Owens, James Cooper and Smiley Cooper.
The body will be removed to the residence this afternoon to lie in state until time for services.
