Mr. Queen was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran and was a P.O.W. in Germany for 16 months during WWII. He was retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.
Mr. Queen was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded death by his wife, Martha Queen.
Survivors include sons, Bruce and Karol Queen of Charleston, SC, Allen and Carla Queen of Fayetteville, GA, Llee Queen of Douglasville, GA; daughter, Lynne and Preston Loftin of Smyrna, GA; sisters, Lucille Cavender of Ellenwood, GA, Betty Goddard of Griffin, GA, Christine Bearce of Douglasville, GA; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
