"Mrs. Josephine Lodder, mother of Mrs. Joseph A. Reardon, 1138 Elm street, died at 4 o'clock this morning at the Chillicothe hospital where she had been a patient two weeks. Mrs. Lodder had been in failing health five months and had been with her daughter and family since the first of the year." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, June 6, 1970

"Services for Josephine Lodder, 77, Marceline, were held Monday morning in the St Bonaventure Church under the direction of Miller-Tillotson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Edward Doyle officiating. Burial was in St Bonaventure Cemetery.

Mrs. Lodder died Saturday morning in the Chillicothe Hospital.

She is survived by one daughter, Genevive Reardon of Chillicothe; one son, James Lodder of Auburn, Indiana; three brothers, Fred Nanneman of Milan, Henry Nanneman of Salisbury and Herman Nanneman of Marceline; two sisters, Mrs. Bill Lodder of Marceline and Mrs. Fred Lodder of Salisbury; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Frances (Prechel) Nanneman; her husband, R. J. Lodder; two sons and a sister." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, June 11, 1970
