She was born June 13, 1906 in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin to William J. and Bessie McCue.
Hazel was an avid member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, a member of the Steelworker's Senior Citizens Club and the Spokane Valley Senior Citizens Association. She was also a volunteer at the Veteran's Administration Hospital.
Hazel loved to do knitting and needle work. After her husband died on April 19, 1975 she continued to reside in Spokane until she could no longer care for herself. She then moved to the Yakima area to be near her relatives.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, a grandson, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Lombard, two infant daughters, and a brother Lawrence McCue.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12th at 2:00 PM at the Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, Spokane, WA. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Spokane.
