She rests next to Her Daughter, Mary Riddle Reed.

Mary Carroll Hill's Parents were raised in Wilkinson County, Georgia, were they were married. The last Years of their Lives together, were spent in Historic Macon, Georgia. Her Father, Elisha Carroll was a member of The Original United Confederate Veteran's (UCV), of Macon.

After Elisha died, Mary's Mother Mrs. Carroll spent the last 22 years of Her Life here, in Miami with all of her Family, then taken to Macon to be Buried next to her Husband.

Elisha and Henrietta Carroll are My many Great Grands.

I have Mary Carroll Hill's Original Obit., it Reads:
Mrs. Mary Frances Hill, 89 of Miami d. after a short Illness. Survivors include Three Daughters, Mrs. Homer Etla Hooks of Miami, Mrs. Howell E. Reed of Jacksonville, and Mrs. J. Maury Gandy of Miss., Two Brothers, James Carroll of Miami, and Arthur Carroll of Marietta, Ga. Several Grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rev. Frank W. Haniey, associate Minister of Riverside Park Meth. Church.
