Mrs. William L. Landers WADLEY RT. 1

Mrs. Ida Belle Landers, age 75, wife of William Lee Landers, Wadley Route 1, passed away in a local hospital at seven o'clock Saturday morning, Jan. 4. Mrs. Landers is survived by her husband; three sons, Bryant Landers of Roanoke Rt. 1 and G. C. and Horace Landers of Wadley Rt. 1; four daughters, Mrs. Irene Duke, Mrs. Cofield Widner, and Mrs. James Bassett, all of Roanoke, and Mrs. Fred Compliment of Muncie, Ind.; 15 grandchildren and eight great - grand - children; three brothers, Charlie Foster of Roanoke Rt. 1, Arthur Foster of Talladega, and Ernest Foster of Plains, Ga. Funeral services for Mrs. Landers were conducted Sunday afternoon at three o'clock from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Broughton, with the Rev. Mr. Eley and the Rev. Herman Clark officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Quattlebaums Funeral Home was in charge of funeral plans.
