Mildred Ann Casey, went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2013 at the age of 89. She was born in Saratoga, Texas to Edith Hazel McCumber and Rush Van Webber Plyler on November 26, 1923. She had a wonderful childhood with her sisters and brother. She married LeRoy Casey on October 27, 1945. She was blessed with two loving sons, Timothy and Michael.

She loved her job at UNT as a switch board operator. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael, and Shawn. She loved to cook, bake, and was also a hairdresser.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:00 am at Roselawn Memorial Park.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Plyler; sisters, Hazel Rector and Ruth Howard; and her husband LeRoy Casey. She is survived by her sons, Tim Casey and wife Donna of Kerrville, Texas; and Mike Casey of Denton, Texas; grandchildren, Kimberly and husband Kipper of Denton, Texas, Michael Casey of Denton, Texas, and Shawn Casey of Austin, Texas; six great grandchildren, Nathen, Korinne, Logan, Kevin, Kyle, and Maddie; and many nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed. She brought happiness to everyone she met.
