Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Mark Frank and Hattie Selma White Robinson.
Mrs. Leonard was a retired Director of Recreation at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey. She was a member of Greenville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and the Retired Officer's Wives Club.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Lt. Col. Richard Douglas Leonard, U.S. Army, Chief of Personnel in Kabul, Afganistan, and his wife, Lee, of Orangeburg, S.C.; one brother, Paul Robinson, of Orangeburg; and two grandsons, Zachary Douglas Leonard of Orangeburg, and Nicholas Grimes Leonard, of the University of South Carolina.
Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park, with the Rev. Neely Gaston officiating.The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive.
