Kimberly Kay Ballard, age 47, of Douglassville, Texas died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in a Longview, Texas hospital.

Kimberly was born September 4, 1965 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was employed with Newark Paper Products in Atlanta; an avid softball and tennis player and enjoyed the outdoors.

She is survived by her Mother, Brenda McCoy of Douglassville, Texas; Father, Larry Ballard and wife Linda of Atlanta, Texas; one brother, Bob Ballard and wife Connie of Douglassville, Texas; two half-brothers, Cortney Ballard of Omaha, Nebraska, Casey Ballard of Bryan, Texas; a nephew, Josh Ballard of Bivins, Texas and a number of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, July 5, 2013 at Union Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Brian Waddell and Jay Wylie officiating.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Hanner Funeral Service.

Interment will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials in honor of Kimberly may be made to the Union Chapel Methodist Church.
