Kara Lynne Shank Davis, 36, Harrisonburg died July 3, 2013 at her residence. Kara was born on November 25, 1976 in Greenville, Texas and is the beloved daughter of Catherine Andes Sellers of Churchville and the late John Shank.
She was a graduate of Spotswood High School. Kara was a kind loving person who enjoyed crocheting things for friends and family. She was always willing to help others.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her children, Thaylore Davis, Steven Robert Davis and their father Scott Davis of Virginia Beach, step-father, Dennis Sellers, Churchville; a brother, Jeremy Shank, Harrisonburg; special friend William (Bill) Collins and her special companion, Lucky Dog and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leonard and Beulah Shank and Leo and Joyce Todd.
Rev. Reed Hopkins will conduct a funeral service Saturday morning at 11:30a.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery.
