MARGIE M. CURTIS

Margie Marie Curtis, 86, peacefully went to Heaven on April 11, 2017. She was born in Jonesburg, Mo. on January 1, 1931. The third of 11 children born to Albert O. and Gladys M. Linke.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and her husband of 53 years, Sammie R. Curtis.
Margie loved the outdoors and spent much of her time outside enjoying her flowers, gardens, and horses. She enjoyed several other hobbies including leathercraft and stained glass artwork. She crafted many belts and wallets for family and friends and her stained glass creations still hang of her family's homes. Her handmade quilts are treasured by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Margie is survived by her four children - Cheryl Harris and husband Don, Jim Curtis and wife Janice, Steven Curtis and wife Barbara, and Teresa Krapes and husband Ron; six grandchildren - Shawn Harris and wife Whitney, Jason Curtis and wife Lynsey, Justin Curtis, James Curtis, Jeannie Ekstrom and husband JJ and Holly Curtis; three step grandchildren - Donald Harris and wife Janie, Leslie Harris and Linda Harris: six great grandchildren - Shelby Harris, Shaylen Harris, Carson Curtis, Logan Curtis, Jase Ekstrom and John Ekstrom; four step-great-grandchildren - Troy Harris and wife Michael, Angie Presley and husband Trent, Price Harris and Olivia Harris.
Funeral arrangements have been made for Saturday, April 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Bland-Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton, MO. with burial in Pankey Cemetery near Stockton.
