Brenda Sue Whitlow Beard Ford, daughter of the late Everett Stokley Whitlow and Nora Elizabeth Whitlow, was born Oct. 19, 1952 in Taylor County and departed this life Monday, Sept. 12, 2005 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was 52 years, 10 months and 24 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was of the Baptist faith and a former store clerk. She united in marriage to Artist Clifton Beard June 29, 1984, who preceded her in death June 6, 1997. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: William Douglas and Jessica Beard and Jason Lynn and Anne Beard, all of Greensburg; one daughter: Genia Leigh Beard of Greensburg; three granddaughters: Lexi-Ann Beard, Jasey Anne Beard and Madison Scott, all of Greensburg; four sisters and four brothers: Louis Bloyd of Hardin County Geneva Bale, Thomas Whitlow, Nancy Sinclair Morris Whitlow, Liz Parson, Jeff Whitlow and Rodney Whitlow, all of Green County and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Ford was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Sheridan Whitlow March 25, 1976 and Clyde Whitlow Oct. 20, 1998. The funeral services of Ford were conducted Sep 14 at Cowherd and Parrot Funeral Home with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery Bro. Leslie Jewell, Bro Greg Whitlow and Bro. Steve Cobb officiated. Pallbearers were Jeff Whitlow, Rodney Whitlow Morris Whitlow, Thomas Whitlow, Eddie Sinclair, Carlos Bloyd and Bill Parson. Honorary pallbearers were her nieces and Nephews.
