Born in Tennessee, Jan. 5, 1860; age 39. To Texas at age 18. Married Miss Trice. In 1892, was elected Sheriff. Served one term. Funeral from the residence today, Rev. J. R. Nelson officiating. Burial at Oakwood cemetery.
