Margaret Beeson Provance Rafferty, 85, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, at her home. She was born July 22, 1919, in Hopwood, a daughter of the late William H. and Mary Jane Martin Beeson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence W. Provance; and two brothers, Jacob Beeson and Charles Beeson.

Surviving are her husband, Frank W. Rafferty; four daughters, Constance Klees and husband, Jack of Nolta Sulga, Ala., Sheila Thomas and husband, Don of Portsmouth, Ohio, Sonia Kobylarz and husband, Dave of Farmington, and Cynthia McKeever and husband, Dale of Carmichaels; three granddaughters; three grandsons; two great-granddaughters; her faithful friend, Lilly; and one brother, Henry H. Beeson of Hopwood.

Margaret was a member of Connellsville Street Church of Christ.

Friends were received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF HOPWOOD, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and will be received today in Connellsville Street Church of Christ from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Evangelist DeWitt Clinton and Donald Thomas officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
