SUDDEN DEATH

Mr. George Hargrove, aged 53 years of VanBuren township, a prominent and wealthy farmer, dropped dead at an early hour Friday morning. He was in his usual good health to within a few minutes of his demise, and was getting ready to engage in cutting wheat. He complained to his wife of feeling ill, and laid down on the bedside, and almost immediately expired. His funeral occurred on Saturday, under the auspices of the K. of P. lodge, of which he was a member. Coroner Bruce investigated the causes which led to his death and returned the following verdict:
CORONER'S VERDICT
State of Indiana Shelby County
I, Clarence R. Bruce, Coroner of Shelby county, having viewed the remains and heard the evidence in regard to the death of George Hargrove, late of VanBuren township, find that said Hargrove came to his death from heart disease, on Friday, July 3rd, 1891. Shelbyville, July 4th, 1891.
