Born in Dalton on Jan 04, 1916, son of Andrew and Anna Cardin Barber, he attended Dalton schools. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Barber was employed at one time in the stock room at G.E. He leaves two brothers, Walter Barber and Eugene Barber, both of Pittsfield; seven sisters, Mrs. Ann Rice of Westfield, Mrs. Lillian Larder of Thompson, Ga., Miss Jean Barber, Mrs. Claire Serra and Miss Gloria Barber all of Pittsfield, Mrs. Irene Barna of Ludlow and Mrs. Joyce Secord of Lenox. He was Predeceased by a brother, George Barber, who died in 1987. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Hinsdale, MA. jar END:
