Lorena (Ewing) Brown, age 53, of Lorain, departed from this life suddenly on June 29, 2013 at Mercy Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 1, 1960 in Lorain OH and was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Clearview High School and was employed at M.T.C. as a correctional officer before retiring this year. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing video games, traveling, shopping, reading, and watching soap operas. She was also a loving, kind and giving person who opened her home and heart to all in need.
Lorena leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert Brown; daughter, Shalonda Jackson (Willie) of Lorain; brothers, Willie, Glen and John Ewing of Lorain; sisters, Alice Goins of Detroit MI and Rev. Maryann Lucas Carter of Saginaw MI; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William and Lumetra Ewing; sisters, Emma Willis and Sarah Dower; and brother, James Fultz.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Ave, Lorain OH 44055. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
