She was born December 6, 1976 in Forsyth County to Clifford William and Wanda Gail Freeman Slate, Sr.
She is survived by her parents; husband, Charles Leonard Fletcher; one daughter, Chelsea Lynnette Morton; one brother, Clifford William Slate, Jr.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 5, 2013 at New Testament Baptist Church in King beginning at 2:00 p.m. The service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Fred Barton and Rev. Brian Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. (Slate Funeral Home)
