Ludie Marshall went to be with her heavenly Father on July 1, 2013. She went home and is now with her husband, children and a multitude of other family angels.

Ludie was born January 15, 1922 in Manchaca, Texas to John and Anatilda Smith. Later in life she met G.D. Marshall and they were married for over sixty years.

Ludie and G.D. settled in Austin and parented five children. Ludie spent the majority of her life being a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband; three sons, L.V., Dennis and Joe; daughter, Betty; and daughter-in-law, Deana Marshall. She is survived by her daughter, Olivia (EB) Maxwell; daughter-in-law, Mary Marshall; sister-in-law, Winnie Smith; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; two great-great-great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Hospice Austin for the care they provided for Ludie.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 5th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in the Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel followed by interment at Live Oak Cemetery. All pallbearers are her grandchildren.
