Philip Hanner Kime, 93, of Richmond, formerly of Salem, died Sunday, July 30, 1995. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zona Lee Arnold Kime and daughter, Gaynelle Kime Dormire. Surviving are his children, Philip Rodney Kime, Glendale, Calif., Gretchen Kime Morgan, Springfield, Maurice Scott Kime, Alexandria, Carolyn Kime Wooley, Richmond; sons-in-law, Robert M. Wooley, H. Floyd Dormire; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Kime was a writer, poet, an artist in oils and watercolors and was a philosopher. He was retired sanitation agent for the Virginia Health Department working in the Va. Beach area for over 25 years. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at East Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Lotz Salem Chapel.
