Mrs. Sarah E. Jones Briggs 73, widow of John Wiley Briggs died Saturday morning May 8th 2010 at Wallace Thomson Hospital.
Born in Union County May 18th 1936 a daughter of the late Charlie and Minnie Green Jones. Mrs. Briggs was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia AME Church.
Survivors include one brother Pierce (Mary) Jones of Union and a special brother-in-law Rufus Briggs of Union. She was preceded in death by one son John William Briggs, two sisters Minnie Briggs and Beatrice Moments.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 12th 2010 at 1:00pm at Macedonia AME Church. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.
The family is at the home of her nephew Alex J. Browning 141 Hilltop Rd. Enoree SC 29335.
