Alice E. Link, 82, of Richmond, died Monday, June 22, 2009, at Reid Hospital.
She was born Nov. 7, 1926, in Salt Lick, Ky., to Henry and Minnie Crouch Goldy and lived in Richmond most of her life. She was retired from Richmond Community Schools.
Survivors include her three children, Vickie and husband Ronnie Saylor of Richmond, Cheryl and husband Carter Mullins of Richmond, and Tim and wife Kim Link of Cummings, Ga.; three grandchildren, Steve and wife Rachel Nicholson of Richmond, Janet Mullins of Richmond and Lisa Welch of Richmond; five great-grandchildren, Natalie Nicholson, Kristina Nicholson, Victoria Welch, Larry Welch III, and Isabella Hodgen; one sister, Mildred Howard of Richmond; nieces and nephews.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband, George, who died Feb. 1, 2008; her parents; one brother; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Elkhorn Cemetery. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
