Funeral services will be at 10am Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Home, 8310 S. Coulter Road in Amarillo. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Larry James Clifton was born On Feb. 2, 1945 in Shawnee, Oklahoma unto Jim and Keitha Hill Clifton. He was raised and educated in Pampa Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from West Texas State University in Canyon. He married Debbie Bishop on August 26, 1978.

Larry was a long time employee of Cabot Corporation in Pampa. He and Debbie moved to Amarillo while Larry continued his career with Cabot Corp. After leaving Cabot/AOG, Larry became a Landman and later moved to Corpus Christi.

Larry was full of life in every way and enjoyed making people laugh. He was always up for a good time. He loved to camp out and party. He never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by a son J.T. Clifton, and his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Debbie of the home, a brother Charlie Clifton and his wife Darlene of North Carolina, three grandchildren Logan, Cole and Jacob and a host of loving friends.

CORPUS CHRISTI — Larry James Clifton, 68, of Corpus Christi died Sunday, June 30, 2013.
