AGED ILLINOIS RESIDENT DIES.
Abiel Hays, 85, Succumbs to Long Illness at Home in Eliza Township.
Abiel Hays, 85, a resident of Illinois for 80 years, died at his home in Eliza township Thursday at 10:30 p.m. of complications resulting from a four months' illness.
Mr. Hays was born May 26, 1850 in Ohio. He married Miss Nellie Kincaid who preceded him in death.
Ten children survive, Mrs. Pearl Ryford, Mrs. Blanche Sanders, Mrs. Walter Brown, Charles Everett, Cecil and Francis Hays, all of Muscatine; Mrs. Mabel Jursan (?) of Milwaukee, Wis.; Tolar Hays of New Boston, Ill.; and Miss Thelma Hays at home.
No funeral arrangements have yet been made.
