Walter Elmer Hopkins, age 69, of Salt Lake City, formerly of Richfield, Utah, died March 14, 1995 in Salt Lake City.
He was born December 28, 1925 to William Henry and Elizabeth Segler Hopkins. Walter attended school through the sixth grade. He worked hard at various odd jobs, including hard labor. After his mom and dad died, he didn't work much.
Walter was never married. He enjoyed riding his bicycle. He used to ride everywhere. He enjoyed writing and printing letters. Walter has lived in Utah, Idaho, and Washington State.
He is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Leah Rabb, Washington, Utah; Mrs. Lottie Morlock, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Vanda Lavanger, Homedale, Idaho; Mrs. Barbara Sutton, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Vinnie Manarola, Phoeniz, Ariz.; Mrs. Maxine Hansen, Salt Lake City. He is preceded in death by parents; sister, Milda Ashdown.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 20, 1995 at 2 p.m. in the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Neal S Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield.
