Gail M. Phillips, 78, of McAllister, WI passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 1, 2017. She was born January 14, 1939, to Howard and Mildred (Caylor) Haulotte.
Gail resided in the McAllister area for most of her life and was a graduate of Wausaukee High School, Class of 1957.
She married Kenneth D. Phillips on September 19, 1959. For many years Gail had been employed at Gary’s Quality Foods in Wallace, MI. She was also a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gail was an avid golfer and liked watching sports and sporting events. She liked being on the go and always enjoyed eating out with family and friends. She was a longtime member of Community Lutheran Church and loved Sunday morning coffee hours after church.
Gail is survived by her children: daughter, Holly (Tom) Philipps of Wallace, MI;
sons: Kenneth (Kathy) Phillips of the Town of Wagner, WI and Don (Vicki) Phillips of Marinette, WI;
grandchildren: Joe Phillips, Mike Phillips, Danielle (Corey) Nicholson, William (Elisa) Philipps and Jessica Bruso; great-grandchildren: Lilly, Aubrey, Isabelle, Lewis and Cain;
her brothers and sisters: Howard (Judy) Haulotte, Marlene Flom, Gerald (Doris) Haulotte, Marjorie Olson and Gary (Lisa) Haulotte; a sister-in-law, Karen Johnson; nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; and brothers: Robert Haulotte and Don Haulotte.
Friends may call at Community Lutheran Church in McAllister from 3 until 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017. Funeral services will follow with the Rev. Paul Hueter officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
