Oval Allen, 85, of Scottsville, KY died at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer, a Baptist and former employee of Pruitt Implement, Thompson Tractor and Green River Ford and New Holland. He was a son of the late Joe Allen and Renie Stovall Allen.



He is survived by his wife: Doris Hill Allen, the Meador Community;

1 son: Scott Allen and wife, Ronda, the Meador Community;

1 brother: Kenneth B. Allen and wife, Delcie, Franklin, IN;

1 sister-in-law: Dorothy Allen, the Meador Community;

1 granddaughter: Alexa Allen and

Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1 sister: Evelyn Osborne; 5 brothers: Aubrey, Floyd, Ruble, William and Carlton Allen.



Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Douglas officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home.
