Wanda Elaine Owen, a native of Oklahoma and longtime resident of Liberty, Miss., passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Amber Terrace in Baton Rouge. She was 89, born June 3, 1924, in Ardmore, Okla., to William and Gladestine Savage. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Liberty.

Survived by her daughter, Debbie Bergeron and husband Calvin, of Zachary; daughter-in-law, Rosely Owen, of Baton Rouge; granddaughter, Kellie Cambre and husband Jay; two grandsons, Adam Johnson and wife Wendy, and Luis Owen; and three great-grandchildren, Macy Cambre, Blake Cambre and Shelby Johnson. A special thanks to Penny Toney.

Preceded in death by her parents, William and Gladestine Savage; husband, James Owen; son, Gary Owen; and three brothers, George Savage, Billy Savage and Dale Savage.

Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, Miss., until funeral service, conducted by the Rev. James Sadler. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery.
