ROCK - Clara Ethel Bailey, 92, of 134 Lawndale Lane, Rock, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, July 20, 2003, at Princeton Community Hospita l.
Born April 2, 1911, in Dunns, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Lee and Netha Meadows Agee. She was a member of Ashworth United Metho dist Church in Matoaka.
In addition to her parents, her husband, James A. 'Alton' Bailey; ones o n, Melvin 'Sonny' Bailey; five brothers; and five sisters precededh er in death.
Mrs. Bailey is survived by four sons, Bobby Bailey, Kermit Bailey andw i fe Sheila, and Doug Bailey and wife Debbie, all of Lashmeet, and Ben ny Bai ley and wife Joyce of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Wanda Stevens on and husband Joe of Bluefield, Va., and Karen Hartwell an d husband Rog er of Lashmeet; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-la w, Jean Bailey of Lashmeet; a dear sister-in-law, Toddie Schulz of Spanishburg; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Kenneth Abrams officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Garden s, Princeton, Mercer Co., WV. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour Wednesday.
