KOETTING Alvin H. Koetting Sr., age 91, of Mary's Home, Mo., passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Care Center. He was born August 8, 1914, in Mary's Home, Mo., the son of August Koetting and Elizabeth (Lepper) Koetting. On June 26, 1941, he was united in marriage in Mary's Home, Mo. to Alma (Evers) Koetting. Mr. Koetting was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church and Cemetery Committee. He owned and operated Koetting's Feed Store and Trucking Company in Mary's Home for 33 years. Survivors include: his wife, Alma Koetting, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alvin Jr. & Emma Jean Koetting, Mary's Home, Mo. and Robert & Mary Koetting, Wardsville, Mo.; seven daughters & sons-in-law, Jane & Donald Kempker, St. Martins, Mo., Betty Berendzen, Holts Summit, Mo., Carol & Dan Berendzen, Wardsville, Mo., Kathy & Michael Schulte, Brazito, Mo., Rita & Leon Buschjost, Holts Summit, Mo., Linda & Charles Wilde, St. Elizabeth, Mo., and Marla & Leon Kirkweg, Mary's Home, Mo.; one sister, Leona (Koetting) Evers, Osage Bend, Mo.; 25 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren & two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son-in-law, William Berendzen. Visitation from 3:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Mary's Home, Mo. with Rosary prayed at 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Mary's Home, Mo. with Rev. Clarence Wiederholt officiating. Interment in Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery, Eugene, Mo. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church or School. Arrangements under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, Mo.
