John serves in The Royal Air Force-Ferry Command WWII. He was the widower of Verna (--) Dame and a resident of 47 Winsor Avenue, Montreal, Canada. He and his fellow airman, Cecil Charles Lane, were buried at Spring Hill Cemetery/Madison Tn. three (3) days after their plane crashed in rural Nashville Davidson County, Tn. John was the son of Allen Davis and Anna Marie McGee Dame John was twenty-nine (29) years of age at the time of his death.
