Denia Inez Hulme was born February 10, 1894 in Bloomington, Idaho, a daughter of William and Ann M. Briscoe Hulme. She was married to Alvin M Speirs August 21, 1924, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had served as MIA president, Relief Society president and a Primary worker for 35 years. Surviving are 3 sons and 1 daughter, Alvin E Speirs, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Russell H Speirs, Layton; Robert W Speirs, Clearfield; Mrs. Melvin C (Evelyn) Odd, Buckley, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Amos B Hulme, Paris, Idaho; and Mrs. Marilla H Sessions, Bountiful.
