Died on the 29th of July, in the seventy-fourth of his age, Richard Bache, of Settle, in the County of Bucks, Pennsylvania - And, on the ensuing day, his remains, attended by his Children and Grand-Children, his friends and fellow-citizens, were deposited in the burying-ground of Christ Church, near the remains of his late excellent wife and her illustrious father, Dr. Benjamin Franklin. Mr. Bache was a native of England. He came, in his youth, to America; and, marrying Sarah, the only daughter of Dr. Franklin, he has been known to Pennsylvania as an inhabitant, a merchant, and a patriot, for more than 50 years.
