Graduate of Rome Free Academy. Married May 16, 1936. Employed at Rome Savings Bank and Roux Wire Die Company, Oriskany, from where she retired in 1982. She was a member of the Mohawk Valley Opera Society, where she served as secretary for several years, Rome Historical Society, Rome Community Theater, the Henry P. Smith Post American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was a Gray Lady with the American Red Cross.
