Funeral Services Held Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs Anna M Nielson, who passed away January 16, were held Thursday afternoon in the Second ward chapel, with Bishop W L Warner in charge.
Speakers were Mrs Jessie Poulson, an associate of Mrs Nielson's daughter, Mrs E C [Sarah] Christiansen, in the work of the Sevier stake primary; Mrs Amelia Hansen, W A Seegmiller and Bishop Warner, all of whom spoke with appreciation of the character of the pioneer woman and her family.
Musical numbers were two sections, "Oh My Father" and "I Know My Heavenly Father Knows," by a trio composed of Miss Madge Peterson, Miss Marien Bean and Reed Rasmussen; a vocal duet, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," by Misses Madge Peterson and Marien Bean, and a vocal solo, "Face to Face," by Miss Peterson. Miss Gwen Christensen acted as accompanist.
The invocation was offered by Dr T R Gledhill. C W Powell, Jr., pronounced the benedition.
Interment was in the city cemetery, where Bishop Warner dedicated the grave.
In tribute to Mrs Nielson and her family a large audience attended the services, and many friends who were unable to attend sent beautiful floral offerings.
Amoung the out-of-town relatives attending the services were a grandson, Francis Christiansen, a student of the U of U in Salt Lake; a foster son and daughter, Arthur Nielson and Mrs Charles Forsberg, both of Salt Lake.
