Feeding Hills – Darlene R. (Pisano) Perry, 65, a lifelong resident of Feeding Hills, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Darlene was born in Springfield on May 25, 1947, a daughter of the late Daniel and Olga (Georges) Pisano. She was a graduate of Agawam High School class of 1965 and she also graduated from American International College. Darlene was a Cub Master and was very proud of the fact that she was the first woman to hold this position. She owned and operated Darlene's Place in Feeding Hills for several years. She loved to travel and spend time on Cape Cod, but most of all she cherished the time with her loving family. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Perry, Sr., of Feeding Hills, three devoted children, Robert Perry Jr., and his wife Dianna of West Springfield, Daniel Perry and his wife Kathy of Florida., and Kariann Monteith and her husband James of Feeding Hills., one caring sister Sandra Harrington and her husband Richard of Florida. She also leaves her six adored and cherished grandchildren, Karyn, Kyle, Krystina, Alexandra, Alexis and Daniel, Jr. A gathering will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 2-4 P.M and 7-9 P.M at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Home Service on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 10A.M. at the COLONIAL FORASTIERE FUNERAL HOME 985 MAIN STREET, AGAWAM, MA 01001. Burial will follow in the Springfield Street cemetery in Feeding Hills.
