MACON - Terry D. Floyd, 50, of Stonewall Place, passed away Sunday at his residence.

Services will be held Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 11:00AM, in Prospect United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Larry Giles, Rev. Sam Collins, and Rev. Tripp Martin will officiate.

Mr. Floyd was born in Peach Co. but lived most of his life in Twiggs County. Terry was a graduate of Twiggs County High School and Central GA Technical College. He was a CNA at Goodwill Nursing Home and was a Volunteer with Heartland Hospice, The Jarrell Plantation, and was a former Substitute Teacher with Twiggs County Schools. Terry enjoyed travelling throughout the United States. He was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his Parents, M. Donald and Brenda R. Floyd. Brothers, Jerry (Rena) Floyd, and Joseph (Mari) Floyd. Nieces and Nephews, Wm. Patrick, Cathrine Leann, C.J. and Michael. Grand Mothers, Margaret Slaton and Frances Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday in the funeral home.
