Michelle Marie BARRETT Passed away at age 29 on November 25, 2006 at her home in Bothell, Washington. She was loved by her large family and countless friends who cherished her thoughtful and caring ways, her quick wit, her beautiful voice and a smile that lit up the room. Michelle was born on September 30, 1977 to James P. and Linda D. Strimple. Michelle and her sister, Allison shared a few happy years with their mother and beloved father prior to his passing in 1983. In 1986 Linda married Jim E. Barrett, and Michelle gained two brothers, Steven J and Brian Scott Barrett, from Jim's previous marriage. After graduating from Nathan Hale High School and attending North Seattle Community College, Michelle spent many years in retail and banking. Her most recent position was Manager of Customer Services at Procyte, a PhotoMedex company, in Redmond, Washington. Michelle was passionate about music, having played several musical instruments and more recently enjoyed singing. She entertained audiences with her beautiful voice. Michelle is survived by her parents, Linda and Jim Barrett of La Conner, Washington, her sister (best friend), Allison Barrett, her brother, Steve (wife, Susie), and her brother, Brian, (wife, Senta). Michelle is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Glenn and Phyllis LiaBraaten, paternal grandparents, Roscoe and Ilene Strimple, three nieces and one nephew, sixteen aunts and uncles and twenty-two first cousins. A Visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday, December 1, 2006 at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service following at 10:30 a.m.
