Isaac Wayne Schenck, 90, of Pittsboro, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013, at his residence.

Born Aug. 11, 1922, in Pittsboro, he was a son of Isaac Jefferson and Nina Susan (Everett) Schenck.

Isaac married Bonnetta Yetive Miller on Nov. 25, 1942, in Zionsville.

A lifelong farmer, he was an Allis Chalmers guy. He was an avid sports fan; he especially enjoyed basketball.

Isaac was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Carl, Earl, Jimmy, Jeff and Uster Schenck; one sister, Peg Schenck; and a son, Danny Schenck.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Schenck; a son, Mickey Schenck; and five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today, July 2, at the David A. Hall Mortuary, 220 N. Maple St., Pittsboro. Burial will be in Sparks Cemetery in Pittsboro. Visitation was held on Monday.
