JOHN ELEY
John Eley, 63 years old, son of Seattle pioneers and a resident of this city all of his life, died in a hospital yesterday after a brief illness. Reguiem [sic.] Mass will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in the Holy Family Church at White Center. Burial will be in Calvary, under the direction of the John Kalin Funeral Home.
Mr. Eley, who resided at 502 W. Roxbury St., was employed as a boilermaker in the Seattle-Tacoma Shipyards at the time of his illness. His wife, Anna Rose, died two years ago.
Surviving are six sons, William, Henry, Joseph, George, Conrad and John Eley, Jr., all of Seattle; four daughters, Anna Rose Eley, Beulah Eley, and Mrs. R.W. Scranton, Seattle and Mrs. Roy Dillis, Jr., Decatur, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Anna E. Pratt, Seattle, and 11 grandchildren.
