Florence Marie Louise Buhler Sutherland
SUTHERLAND Florence Marie Louise Buhler Sutherland entered into Glory to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the age of 80. She was born on July 17, 1932.
She was the daughter of the late George Henry Buhler and Aline Florence Lusignan.
The beloved wife of Philip O. Sutherland for over 59 years. She was a lifelong resident of Algiers.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Shirley Mae Buhler Seymour; son-in-law, John Beaupre and grandsons, John Beaupre Jr. and Aric Farrell.
Florence is survived by her husband Philip; her brother, George H. Buhler; and children, Michael (Deborah Baer), Phylis (Joel Gondrella), Julie (Richard Ferrell), John (Martha Moreira), Erin (Ronald Weatherwax), Mary (David Slade) and Jan (Scott Close); 13 grandchilren and 4 great grandchildren.
Flo, "Boo" to family and friends was in love with her family, dancing and camping and lived to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 6201 Stratford Place, Algiers, LA on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Saturday at 11AM.
Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, Harvey, LA in charge of arrangements.
