Daniel is my 2nd great-grand uncle. He is the son of Daniel and Nancy Stewart Foster. Daniel married Jennie McCormick. Five children were born to this union: Daniel, Jr., Edwin Albert, John Stewart, Melissa Jane & Myrtle Daisy.

Deaths of the Week
Daniel Foster, mention of whose death was made in last week's issue, was born at Chatham, Canada, December 1, 1839. and died April 28, 1920, aged 80 years , four months, and 27 days. He was one of a family of eight children, only one, Mrs. Anna Kelley, of Chippewa Falls surviving. He came to the United States in 1881 and settled on a farm in Keystone where he has resided continuously since. He lived upon the homestead until about five years ago, when he sold the old place and built a fine new house a short distance away, which place was his home until he died.
Mr. Foster was united in marriage on Oct. 12, 1869, to Miss Jennie McCormick and to his union was born five children, all of whom are living as follows: Dan, Ed, Jack, Mrs. Lon Yeakey, and Mrs. Robert Gumbert, all of whom live in or in the vicinity of Keystone.
Mr. Foster united with the church in early life, having joined the Baptist Church in Canada. He was a charter member of the Keystone COngregational church and was a loyal supporter of that institution always. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at the home in Keystone. Rev. E. R. Evans officiation. Interment was made in the cemetery at Chippewa Falls.
