Thomas H. O'Neall, one of the oldest and best known residents of Lauramie township, died at his home at Stockwell Sunday morning at 11:20, after an illness of only two days of congestion of the lungs. The deceased was 76 years of age and had been a resident of the county for over fifty years. He leaves surviving him a wife and three daughters,. The latter being Mrs. Andrew Laird of Frankfort, Mrs. W. H. Caulkins of West Lafayette, and Mrs. Addison Hollingsworth of Dayton. The deceased was honored and respected on all sides as a good citizen, a kind and affectionate husband and father and an upright and honorable man in all the walks of life. The funeral took place at 10 o'clock this morning from the Stockwell M. E. church. (Ref: Daily Courier, Tue April 2, 1889.)
