Ruth M. Herman, age 82, of Hamilton, died Saturday, January 27, 1996, in the Tri-County Extended Care Center. She was born in Hamilton on September 23, 1913, the daughter of George and Clara (Lagedrost) Meyer. On November 19, 1935, in St. Joseph Church, she married Earl G Herman. Mrs. Herman was a member of St. Ann Church, the Altar Rosary Society, V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Ladies Christian Benevolent Association. Survivors include her husband, Earl; three daughters, Gloria Bauer, Sandra and her husband Bob Hensler and Peggy and her husband James Kramer, all of Fairfield; a son, Raymond Herman, of Hamilton; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a cousin. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene, who died at birth in 1939. Prayers will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Ann Church. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Miami Valley Fund / Hamilton Community Foundation, 319 N. Third St., Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
