EAST LONGMEADOW—Rosalie A. "Ro" (Gaug) Hart, 91, a resident of this town since 1959, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cheshire, CT, she was the daughter of the late John & Rosalie (Nassann) Gaug, and a 1940 graduate of Wilby High School in Waterbury, CT. Rosalie was a former employee of O'Malley Printers in West Springfield, retiring in 1983, and had previously worked for Albert Steiger Co.in East Springfield, Broz Express, Inc. of West Springfield, and had worked at the U.S. Armory and the Bing Theatre in Springfield. She was a communicant of Christ Church Cathedral of Springfield and a member of the church "Mr. & Mrs. Club", member and coordinator of the Senior Center Bowling League, she and her late husband were East Longmeadow "Senior King & Queen" in 1987, a member of the "Morning Walkers", Golden Agers Club, the Senior Friendship Club, and the "Red Hat Classy Lassies, all of East Longmeadow. She was an avid Red Sox, Celtics, & Patriots Fan. She leaves a son, Edward J. Hart and his companion Cecile Vincelette of Chicopee, MA, a daughter Charlene R. Carlson and her companion Wayne Moreau of Belchertown, MA, five granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by her husband Edward W. Hart in 2010. Visiting hours for Rosalie will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 from 4:00—7:00 pm at the Forastiere-Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow, MA. A private burial will be held in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
